Celebrate your inner witch at Kimmswick’s Witches Night Out. Leave the men and kids at home for a witchy night of all-female fun!
On October 14, show off your witchy side at Kimmswick’s Witches Night Out, where witches are invited to eat, drink, shop and revel. Witches Night Out 2017 marks the event’s seventh year of wine tasting and shopping, and this year’s event includes a scavenger hunt and costume contest. Prizes will be awarded for Best Broom, Best Hat and Best Witch along with prizes for the Skeleton Scavenger Hunt.
Music and entertainment, attendance prizes, and a psychic will even be on hand to help visiting witches see their future. Discounts on shopping and food make this an affordable, fun event.
Kimmswick, the historic town founded by Theodore Kimm in 1859, suggests that visiting witches wear comfortable shoes and bring a flashlight and umbrella. Please no outside coolers, cans or bottles.
In addition to promoting local business, Witches Night Out also serves as a fundraising event for local causes. This year’s proceeds will be donated to Ride On St. Louis, The Kimmswick Visitor Center, ALS, and One for Nancy.
The Kimmswick Merchants Association is promoting Witches Night Out as an “adult girls’ night out only,” so bring your broom and witchy friends, but leave the men and kids at home.
Witches Night Out starts at 3:00 p.m. and ends at 9:00 p.m., rain or shine. Witches will be transported by bus into Kimmswick from Windsor Middle School at 6208 US 61, Imperial, Missouri, so please park there. Packets with coupons and information will be distributed at the middle school.
