The 29th Annual Weston Applefest in historic downtown is October 7-8! Mark your calendars for one of the best fall festivals in Missouri!

To kick off Weston’s Applefest, there will be a parade Saturday morning along Main Street, featuring antique tractors, classic cars, fire trucks, as well as bands. In addition to the parade, there will be over 60 art and craft booths set up to peruse while shopping Weston’s unique shops.

Adults will pay a $1 donation for admission, although it is free for children under 15. For more details, you can visit Weston’s website as well as the event’s Facebook page. The Applefest runs Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Take home a jar of apple butter after watching it being made over an open wood fire! This is just one of the many activities you and your family will enjoy doing together Applefest weekend. Come on out to the park both days for face painting, venturing through the Straw Bale Maze, pumpkin painting, and more!

If you’re looking for a bite to eat afterwards, be sure to stop by the local churches for cookies, apple dumplings, and apple pies. However, if you’re looking for something a bit more substantial, there are several delicious restaurants in Weston to choose from.

The Burley House Market will also be making an appearance, as it is the second weekend of October. The market features up to 50 vendors, featuring home decor, soaps and lotions, homespun crafters, and many more. There is a $1 admission fee but parking is absolutely free! Make sure to stop by on your way in or out of Weston’s 2017 Applefest.
