Put down that designer mascara you have and take a look at the seven best mascaras from the drug store that are all under $15!

I always find myself at Nordstrom or a luxury department store being reeled in by the sales associates to buy fancy make up that ends up costing me a fortune. I go home and question myself, what did I just purchase? To be honest, I really never know the difference between any of them, except for the fact I am usually spending sometimes $30 or more on mascara! How could this be? Am I putting gold on my eyelashes? Something just doesn’t seem right.

I knew there had to be another option, a more affordable one in fact. I did some research on some of the best drug store mascaras that will not break your bank and still make your eyelashes look great and perhaps even better than the designer brand. Some of these drug store brands are so popular that even celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Aniston and their make up artists prefer them.

After searching high and low and across multiple brands, here are the seven best drug store mascaras that I tried under $15:

  1. CoverGirl Plumpify Blastpro Mascara -$12
  2. Maybelline Falsies Express Mascara -$5
  3. Loreal Voluminous Superstar Mascara -$9
  4. Revlon Ultimate All In One Mascara – $9
  5. Almay One Coat Mascara – $8
  6. Wet n Wild Mega Impact Mascara -$4
  7. Covergirl The Supersizer by LashBlast Mascara -$6

All of these mascaras were light weight, easy to wash off and never got clumpy. My eyelashes felt and looked amazing with each and every one of these and the best part is that I did not break my bank account. Affordable mascaras are the way to go because you should be getting a brand new tube of mascara at least every three months. Your eyes contain thousands of germs, and to be sanitary your mascara should be new and fresh every 90 days. This will avoid any infections of the eye area and never share mascara with a friend! This puts you at risk to receive many diseases and germs in your eye.

You can get any of these mascaras at your local CVS, Walgreens, Target or Wal-Mart. Most of them come in the options of regular and waterproof as well.

So, put down that designer mascara and try some of these great options out! Look your best at an even better price! Have you tried any of these mascaras? What mascara is your favorite? Let us know in the comments below!
